Richard & Tina Price with Casualistic
__ Price Show Horses training facility is owned and operated by Richard and Tina Price, longtime fixtures in the paint horse industry. Located in Brenham, TX for nearly 30 years, the ranch consists of 20 acres, show barn, covered arena, and cross-fenced pens. Price Show Horses is a training facility specializing in breeding, training, and showing, of quality halter horses in the APHA, AQHA, and ApHC breed shows. In addition to futurity and open horses, Price Show Horses works with amateurs and their horses.
In addition to training and showing outside horses, Price Show Horses stands Casual MR, AQHA/APHA. Casuall MR is a constant fixture on the annual Leading Sires List of Halter winners and point earners. Casual MR follows in the footsteps of several exceptional stallions previously standing at Price Show Horses, including Silent Print, VR Master Bug and Mr Kid Charlie. These bloodlines are used extensively in our broodmare band, keeping our color production and quality very high. Casual MR’s books are kept small, resulting in a low number of offspring. This keeps demand and prices high. Casual MR is enrolled in the Breeders Trust and the Gold Futurity program with the APHA.
The training operation is run exclusively by Richard and Tina. The training program is small, allowing for individual attention to each horse. Horses are worked and evaluated daily. Richard is both barn and stallion manager, tending to the day-to-day operation of the facility. Tina is a National Director with the APHA, a member of the Professional Horseman’s committee, and holds judge’s cards with five associations. Tina attends the APHA Workshops and Conventions, as well as spending numerous weekends traveling and judging.
